Our academic faculty

 


Gazit International Polygraph School cooperates with public and governmental organizations in the countries where it holds its courses. The School's faculty has already trained polygraph examiners in Africa, Asia, Europe and South America, where it also started polygraph and consultation with government agencies and bodies. Our polygraph courses offer both latest academic knowledge and practical training based on the long experience of our faculty personnel as polygraph examiners for private and governmental organizations.

Mordechai Gazit

Polygraph School founder, chairman of Israeli Polygraph Association between 2007 and 2009, and an APA member, Mr. Gazit has an over 40-year long experience as a polygraph examiner and polygraph lab director. He has a BA degree in psychology from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and formerly served as the director of Israeli Police Polygraph School and de facto director of Israeli Police Polygraph Lab. Since the early 1980s, he has been testifying as an expert witness in Israeli courts. He also directed polygraph trainings in Israel and in governmental organizations in many other countries.

Prof. Eitan Elad

Head of the School's Psychology and Research Department, Prof. Elad is also the head of Behavioral Sciences Department of Ariel University and the director of its Psychophysiological Research Laboratory. For the last three decades, he has been researching various aspects of the lie and the various ways developed to detect it. He has published tens of articles in this field in leading psychology journals, focusing on polygraph examination. He also lectured on these subjects in Bar Ilan University and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He also has  26 years of long practical experience as an Israeli Police research officer.

Eran Gazit

Eran Gazit, of blessed memory (1971-2022), A senior lecturer of Gazit International Polygraph School, he has a BA degree in economics and political science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and has graduated with excellence in psychology from the Open University. Having over 20 years of experience in polygraph examining, he serves as an expert witness in Israeli courts, and has published articles on polygraph in leading scientific journals. He had a plenty of experience in starting polygraph labs, training examiners, and implementing relevant knowledge in governmental organizations worldwide. He is a Member of APA, Israeli Polygraph Examiners Association (IPEA), and British and European Polygraph Association (BEPA), and served as APA's International Committee member between 2013 and 2014. Eran is the IPEA (Israeli Polygraph Examiners association) president since 01/2020

Meir Shir
meir shir

An experienced polygraph specialist Shir has served as questioner and interrogator in Israeli security agencies for over 30 years. He is a certified polygraph examiner and a member of APA, IPEA and BEPA, and an accredited expert witness in Israeli courts of law. He conducts polygraph examinations in Hebrew and Arabic.

Nimrod Daniel

Nimrod DanielA retired Israeli Police Chief Superintendent, Nimrod Daniel has an MA degree in diplomacy and security studies from Tel Aviv University. He has served in a variety of command, interrogation and intelligence duties in the Israeli Police, such as Head of Interrogation and Intelligence Department in Yarkon District (Tel Aviv area), Glilot Police Station commander and Head of Organized Crime and Terrorism squad in Lahav 433 International Investigations Unit. He is an expert questioner and interrogator, a private investigator licensed by Israeli Ministry of Justice, a qualified polygraph expert and an APA member.

 

 

Adv. Irit Gazit 

iritHead of the School's Legal, Judicial and Ethical Department, Irit Gazit has a BA in law and is a qualified lawyer since 1998, specializing in mediation. Formerly, she directed the Legal Aid system of the Women International Zionist Organization (WIZO). Among her former duties, she served as legal advisor for Israel's National Children Protection Council, a public attorney, and offered legal represented and close support for families of lethal offense victims and for juveniles on behalf of Legal Aid Department of Israeli Ministry of Justice. She has a long experience in instructing and lecturing on ethical and legal subjects.

  

Dr. Miguel Gladstein

migel goldshmidtFounder and director of the School's Physiology Department, a speaker of Hebrew, English and Spanish.Dr Gladstein has an MD from Buenos Aires University Medical School, he is a pediatrician and is doing an internship in emergency medicine and pediatrics in Toronto Sick Children Hospital. He has a long experience in teaching medical and physiological subjects.
