Training in employees characterization, sorting out and recruitment

The purpose of the course:  improving the organization's recruitment personnel capabilities of interviewing, sorting out and selecting applicants, through combining security-wise and human resources-wise knowledge.

Intended students: managers, human resources department managers and recruitment personnel.

Location:

The training in employee selection and reliability examination skills will take place in the School's facilities in Central Israel, or in a suitable facility in the client organization or business.

The program covers lectures on and practical training in questioning, applicants and recommenders, marketing techniques, etc.

The syllabus:

Interview surroundings: the importance of interview location design; an effectively designed surrounding; non-verbal messages. Duration: 2 hours       

The interviewer: the interviewer's character and conduct. Setting the time for an interview or a conversation, and preliminary actions; the interviewer's appearance, introduction to the interview and receiving the interviewee; desirable conducts and behaviors  (including body language) during a conversation; interview conclusion and termination. Duration: 4 hours.

The interviewee: detecting points of weakness in various types of interviewees; analyzing the person facing you; preliminary examination of the interviewee, his or hers purposes, and types of interviewees. Duration: 6 hours.

 Recommenders' interrogation and questioning: practical techniques; key points for a short conversation; points for interrogation; data verification. Duration: 2 hours.

The lie: its history, detecting and recognizing it, its symptoms,  premises about truth and lie; dealing with lies. Duration: 4 hours

Psychological and physiological effects during an interview: mental processes and behavioral effects; learning and conditioning; reinforcements and sanctions; arousal and stress; defense mechanisms; effects on the nervous system, heart and respiratory system, and other physiological effects. Duration: 4 hours.

Body language: bodily messages contradicting the verbal ones, and ways of dealing with them; non-verbal communication and its diagnostic significance; the elements of non-verbal communication; signs and messages, characteristics of non-verbal communication; can non-verbal messages be controlled? Duration: 6 hours.

Interviewing tactics and manipulations: ways of removing "bottlenecks"; proper questioning; possible moments of crises during a conversation; when and how to use manipulations; dialogue crises solving techniques. Duration: 4 hours.

Practical training: practice, feedback and conclusion. Duration: 8 hours.
